We have been coming to this park for the last few years for 3 week stays each October. This is a park that is clean, quiet and peaceful location open from April-October. They close early November. Each year we have been here, there are noticeable infrastructure improvements. Not many amenities, but large & reasonably level gravel sites with 30/50 amp power, water, sewer for our 40' coach. Small bath house w/washer & dryer. WiFi in park, but sporatic and slow during peak periods. We use a personal Verizon hotspot with reasonable speeds that will support streaming. There is a pond that claims to have fishing available, but have never tried it in Oct. Location is convient to local sites, shopping & day trips to mountains.This is a small park with abt 14 reasonable size spaces for RV'S up to 40'. While it is a Passport America park, it currently only gets applied for short term stays of less than a week. Seems for the last few years, the rules get changed each year. Their business model results in a constant in & out of RV'S coming for short stays. Owners would benefit from encouraging stay periods of weekly stays by changing how they apply discounted rates. This would save on the traffic wear and tear on the entrance and sites.
RedGates RV Park is a small conveniently located park. It's quiet, well managed and well groomed. It's missing the amenities that families with children look for but that's probably why it's quiet. It doesn't have a camp store but is located close to shopping. It has a lake for fishing and slightly aged restrooms but they are very clean. I won't hesitate to stay there again. I rate it 4.5.
If your looking for a large park with lots of kids running around or lot of noise all night long...well, this is not the park for you! This is a well kept, small, friendly campground. everything we wanted. Quiet, laid back with the nicest people. We will always stay here when were in Hendersonville. P.S. thanks to the person that put the lovely flowers on our picnic table.
The best place in the world. Peaceful. Clean .laundry. And wifi .
Small, quiet RV park. Clean facilities. We are just trying out RVing & hosts Judy & her husband were very accommodating & insightful. We will be back.
