Our whole family loves this place. They're amazing! My husband and I and my mother in law all go together. Buy some of the large packs of pork chops, chicken, ground beef, ribs, etc. Split the bill. Then divide the meat. We can usually get what would be $200 worth of meats at Wal-Mart for $40-$80 here. Great for families in budget!
Very good prices. Some of the food is passed its sell by or best by date, but that doesn't always mean that it is bad. Just keep an eye out for how expired it is and what it is. The Grocery Outlet in Greer SC closed a long time ago and we hated to see it go. This location is the closest to us.
Usually a good place to buy pork and off the wall stuff, prices are usually just under retail markets
I would rate less than 1 star but that's not an option. I was disgusted when the cashier of my register, the only register, pulled her pant leg up to show the" infection on her leg" to the customer in front of me. That didn't seem to be enough for her so she put her bare leg up on the counter so that her friend could really get a good look at the necrotic lesion!! Within an hour I called to complain to the manager and she continuously interrupted me to shout to someone on her end and and shortly said to me "yeah, I just got here"..nothing else, no apology, nothing - only the blaring silence of disinterest. So anyway, clearly, revealing a nasty unsanitary sore on your extremity while propping it up on a food counter is accepted behavior with management of this Grocery Outlet. I am just extremely thankful her need for sharing her wound didn't involve further disrobing. I don't think I could have even purchased my sealed canned goods at that point. I shudder to think if I had a package of meat or raw fruits or vegetables sliding over the counter she so carelessly compromised with her undressed, unprotected, leg infection. Please consider my visit before you put you or your family's hard earned dollars in the hands of such carelessness and lack of concern regarding your health and safety. I will not stop here, I will pursue this in hopes someone else won't be subjected to such filth.
Good prices on brand names. Great place for bargains.
