Lines are way too long. Five or six windows but only two staffed. Lines out the door at busy times. Should have more people on the windows. Poor management. Less waiting at rural post offices and staff is far more friendly.
They do not answer their phones. I have been trying to contact them all day. It is 4:30 and our mail still has not ran for the day. My co-worker also tried to get in contact with them by phone for weeks regarding a passport. I do NOT recommend this post office.
The last two times I've visited this post office it has put me in a bad mood. The workers seem grumpy and overworked maybe? Both times, separate people, I felt I was treated rudely. I rather dread going there. The smaller branches seem much happier. And yes, they are not good about answering their phones.
Feels dumpy and run down. Cracks on outside of building, looks like its in ruin! Average experience with postal employees, some very pleasant, some, not so much. Hendersonville is a beautiful little town, this post office looks like its on the verge of falling down, hire a contractor to keep the building up!
They literally NEVER answer their phones. It is super frustrating. I tried to schedule an appointment for my passport for WEEKS. I called several times a day, everyday. I finally got a woman to answer and she was very unfriendly and appointments were fully booked for over a month by then. I ended up just scheduling in Tryon for my passport. They definitely have crappy service.
