Poor signage...most sites unmarked and map bears no resemblance to reality. Roads turn into washed out rutted paths in a decent rainstorm. Was asked not to use bathhouse due to septic issues. No one spends time outdoors most likely due to to sewage smell that permeates the area unless a stuff breeze blows. 75% of sites appear to be full time residents. All but a handful of sites are no more than 12 ft wide...no space between sites. Dumpsters are full to the brim...been here 4 days and no change. Stayed here in a 31ft 5th wheel...few sites large enough to fit this size rig. No staff was working on our Friday arrival...an off duty assistant led us to our unmarked site, presumably ours. Have not seen anyone in the office or management since our arrival. Kind of depressing place...we head out to explore area whenever we can.

Ok. Can this place get any better???? Out third visit and it just gets better. Owner let me keep my camper here and called and told him I would be late getting in and hope that would not be a problem. He offered to set camper up on my spot. I was shocked!! Showed up at 11pm and camper was set up leveled water and power hooked up!!!! I have never seen this kind of service!!!! We have a true home away from home!!!!!!

We chose Blue Ridge Travel Park because of its reported wooded sites and were not disappointed. It was great to have the camping experience with the comfort of full hook ups. The location provides easy access to shopping as well as local attractions. The new owner is very accommodating and is updating and making improvements daily. We look forward to another stay before the end of the year.

Avoid if you are tent camping.

While this place gets good reviews for RVs, if you are interested in tent camping, avoid at all costs. We booked and prepaid for 2 night - left after the first night. No one was in the 'Office', so we couldn't even attempt to let them know of our complaints or try to recoup the money. You are basically camping in the middle of a trailer park on a patch of grass. The guy there had to drive us in his golf cart and point out the patch of grass because there was no way of knowing where it was. No picnic table, no fire ring, nothing. Just a grass area between several rows of trailers. Forget having any privacy. All night we heard people making noise, and the 'tent area' was right near a street light, so it was very bright. The tent camping area was promoted as being next to a creek, which turned out to be a muddy ditch. Only 2 bathroom stalls for this entire park, which everyone seems to use, so I had to wait 30 minutes just to use the bathroom in the morning while there was a line of people waiting to shower.

I love this place. Prices are more then reasonable. Only a couple miles out of town. Very quite at night. Bath houses was always stocked and clean. Wife suggested we come back in a couple weeks. i mentioned it to Doug (new owner) and he offered for a small fee to leave the camper there. Really felt comfortable in doing so as it was a 4 hour drive back home. Its really a great little park!

This campground is so clean, organized and well put together! The new owner has done a fabulous job renovating the place; the bathrooms are gorgeous! He was personable, and really went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. I reccomend to anyone wanting to explore the Hendersonville/Chimney Rock area to stay here. Lots to do and the park is great! A+ !!!
